01 Overview
Used with pediatric Ilizarov fixator to fix the fracture. It crosses through bone, one side is tightened with a cannulated/slotted bolt & nut, other side is tensioned with wire tensioner & then cannulated/slotted bolt is tightened by nut. Pediatric ilizarov circular fixator frame is used for the treatment Fixation of fractures, deformities, pseudoarthroses, bone defects of long tubular bones , correction of joint contractures & for extremity lengthening purposes in pediatric patients
